I am a 4 year old boy called Karissa.

I am a street dog, which means I�ve grown up never having known what it is like to have an owner or a home of my own.

I was brought to Soi Dog with a large tumour on my neck. I am now in the care of the vets here, who tell me they will do something called surgery to remove this tumour.

They tell me I am also anaemic so they are now giving me medication to treat this. I am very sweet with the vets; I know they want to help me.

I am here today because of a special group of Soi Dog supporters. Although they live all over the world, they care very much about the street dogs and cats of Thailand. They send monthly donations so we can be helped.

These supporters are called the Emergency Response Team and without them, I would still be on the streets and suffering a great deal. I don�t want to think about what would have ended up happening to me.

I am one of many street dogs and cats that need help. Soi Dog wants to rescue all the sick, injured, abused and abandoned animals but they won�t be able to do it without YOUR help.
