FURTHER ARRESTS IN THE ILLEGAL DOG MEAT TRADE!

72 DOGS RESCUED FROM TORTURE AND SLAUGHTER

Three days ago, police in Kampangpet province in northern Thailand conducted a raid of a truck at 10pm at night, which revealed 72 dogs hidden and destined for slaughter.

The truck had been specially adapted for transporting dogs while keeping them out of sight.

The driver and another occupant of the truck were both arrested and the truck confiscated.

The rescued dogs were all transported to the Soi Dog funded shelter at Nakhon Phanom.

The battle to end the illegal dog meat trade goes on and great strides are being made. We continue to need your support!

Just a few dollars a week can help us bring this barbaric trade to an end once and for all.

As you read this, there are dogs in Asia being tortured then slaughtered for their meat. Soi Dog urgently needs money to rescue them, repair their broken bodies, and help find them loving homes. Please donate a few dollars a month to help them.
