My name is Ingrid. I am a 7 year old girl, a street girl with no owner or home. I have always managed to fend for myself until the day I became seriously ill.

I developed a tumour on my right eye lid and another large lump under my right ear. I was suffering a lot and very scared. There was nobody to help me.

I was picked up by Animal Rescue Officer Khun Sanae after Soi Dog received a call from one of the monks at a temple by my territory.

When Khun Sanae scooped me into his arms and placed me in his truck, I felt safe for the first time in my life. There was somebody to help me.

At the shelter, the vets examined me and have now started me on antibiotics. The next step will be to remove this horrible tumour.

Thanks to all those Soi Dog supporters who have joined the Emergency Response Team, I am now getting the treatment I urgently needed.
