I am a 10 year old boy called Aubrey.

You might not have street dogs like me in your country, but here in Thailand, I am one of many. We are born on the streets; we are not owned, and most of us will live our whole lives like this.

This is the only life we know and we manage to get by, scavenging for food or being fed by local restaurants. In my case though, I got sick and there was nobody to take care of me.

I was picked up one day by a man called Khun Jaroon. He is an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog. When I arrived at the shelter, the vets said I was suffering from a fungal skin infection and something called demodectic mange.

I also have a constant, full body twitch. I cannot help this; it is muscle twitching caused by the fact that I once had something called distemper.

My skin conditions are being treated every day now, and I am slowly improving, although the distemper tremor will always be with me.

I am old enough to realise how lucky I am that I was helped. This is all thanks to some very special Soi Dog supporters. They belong to a group called the Emergency Response Team, which means their regular donations are used to rescue and treat street animals like me.

I know there are many street dogs and cats out there that need help. I was one of them. Won’t YOU help them?

If you join the Emergency Response Team, you will be saving so many lives. They have nobody to count on but you. Please don’t let them down. All you have to do is click on my picture to get started.

Thank you.

By joining the Emergency Response Team, you are making sure that suffering street dogs and cats get the life-saving treatment they so urgently need.
