My name is Leanna. I am a one year old girl, a street cat of Thailand. I am in a lot of pain, having recently been hit by a car. I can’t remember how long I was lying by the side of the road in agony, when a kind person found me and called Soi Dog.

After that, I was quickly picked up and taken to the shelter. The accident left me with a very big wound on my belly and I could not walk. I was sent to a specialist hospital for something called an x-ray and then brought back to the Soi Dog shelter.

I am now being looked after by Dr. Su, who is cleaning and treating my wound every day. It will be sometime before I am completely better but I understand that everyone here wants to help me. I am a very sweet girl during treatment and always gentle with the vet, just as she is gentle with me.

They tell me I am here because of a group called the Emergency Response Team. These are very special Soi Dog supporters, who send regular donations so that animals like me can be picked up and helped. I am so very grateful to these people.

I know there are many other animals like me on the street and they need help too. Can YOU be the one to get them that help? If you join the Emergency Response Team, you will be putting an end to suffering for so many others.

Please rescue a sick or injured street cat or dog today, just as others did for me. No amount is too small and all you have to do is click on my picture to get started.

Thank you.

By joining the Emergency Response Team, you are making sure that suffering street dogs and cats get the life-saving treatment they so urgently need.
