I am a 6 year old boy called Mayson and I am very ill right now. I was rescued from the street when a man called Khun Sanae found me.

He is an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog and he could see I was in a very bad way.

My face and neck were very swollen. I had cysts all over my body and was suffering with something called bacterial dermatitis. The vets examined me and found I also had inflamed lymph nodes.

I have been started on treatment but the vets tell me it will take me some time to get better. They are keeping a very close eye on me and I am very cooperative during my treatment. I am a friendly boy and just happy to be helped.

The vets tell me I was picked up that day because of a special group of people called the Emergency Response Team. These are Soi Dog supporters who live all over the world but care very much about the street dogs and cats of Thailand. I owe them everything.

There are many other animals like me, still out there, in desperate need of help. Some are sick; some are injured. Others have been abandoned or abused. Can YOU be the one who helps them today?
