My name is Dewar and I am a 4 year old girl. I was found on a beach by some kind people who fed the many beach dogs every day.

They had never seen me there before and were worried that the other dogs would attack me for being on their territory. They could also see that I looked very unwell.

I was brought to the Soi Dog shelter, extremely weak and very skinny. I had discharge from both my eyes and cataracts in both. I had a bad case of mange and a fungal skin infection.

All my once beautiful fur had fallen out. I was limping from an old, untreated hip fracture. I was a desperately unhappy girl.

Since being treated by the vets here at Soi Dog, everything is getting better. I eventually got well enough to be moved out of the clinic and I am now in a run with other dogs who have become my friends.

My skin has healed and my fur has started to grow back. I am quite the fluffy girl now.

All of this is thanks to some special Soi Dog supporters, whose regular donations meant I could be helped. I owe them everything. They are called the Emergency Response Team.

I still think about all the other street animals that need help. They are sick or injured; they have been abused or abandoned. Can YOU be the one who helps them?

Please join the Emergency Response Team today. These suffering animals have nobody else to turn to and all you have to do is click on my photo to get started.

Thank you.

By joining the Emergency Response Team, you are making sure that suffering street dogs and cats get the life-saving treatment they so urgently need.
