Life gets tough when you are an older street dog like me. I have never known what it�s like to have an owner or a home of my own. I have spent my life fighting to survive, to find enough food and somewhere safe to sleep.

I am 8 years old now. My name is Kolton.

I was suffering a lot when I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter. The vets said I had something called demodectic mange and was infested with ticks. A lot of my fur had fallen out and I had no appetite. I was weak and depressed.

Dr. Eugene has been treating me every day and I am slowly starting to improve. I am on antibiotics and my appetite is gradually returning. I have a long journey ahead of me but the vets hope I will make a good recovery.

There are many suffering street dogs like me and I am so lucky that I am now being helped. This is all thanks to the Emergency Response Team. These are special Soi Dog supporters whose monthly donations meant I could be picked up and helped.
