I MADE A MISTAKE AND THEY THREATENED TO KILL ME PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND

My name is Kamari. I am a 4 year old boy and I am so scared right now. I was born on the street and this is the only life Ive ever known. I was one of the lucky ones as the restaurant near my territory always made sure I had enough to eat.

I was happy with my freedom but it all went so horribly wrong the other night. I was feeling a bit protective of my territory when a lady I didnt know suddenly approached me. I snapped at her.

I am so ashamed to tell you this. I didnt bite her but I did give her a little warning nip. I felt bad as soon as I did it.

The ladys husband got very angry and promised he would come back later that evening with his friends and they would kill me. I was so frightened that I started shaking in front of this angry man.

Another nice man heard all this and he took me away from there. He kept me in hiding and contacted Soi Dog.

I am now living at the Soi Dog shelter and I can never return to my territory again. It is too dangerous for me to go back; they will surely kill me. I am so confused and sad. Dont humans ever make mistakes?

The people here at Soi Dog will tell you what a lovely, friendly dog I am. I am happy I am one of the many saved by the kindness of the Emergency Response Team. These are special Soi Dog supporters who live all over the world but want to help suffering animals here in Thailand.

Street dogs like me are under threat every day. Please join the Emergency Response Team and get more of them to safety. They are counting on you and all you have to do is click on my picture to get started.

Thank you.
