When everything you love in life is suddenly snatched from you, your whole world falls apart. When the only home you�ve ever known disappears overnight, you are crippled with fear.

When your owner, the person you would die for, decides he no longer wants you and dumps you at a temple, your little heart is broken.

My name is Kenna. This is my story.

Dumped at a temple by the owner I adored, I was attacked by other dogs who didn�t want me on their territory. I was brought to Soi Dog covered in wounds and cuts, but when the vets examined me, they found so many other problems.

I had mange, severe anaemia and septicaemia. I was also suffering from blood parasites. My skin was matted and crusty; my eyes were oozing discharge. Everything hurt.

Since being here, my body is slowly healing thanks to daily treatment and attention from the vets. My broken heart will take some time.

I am paralysed with fear. I miss my owner. Sometimes I try to bite the vets while they are treating me. I am so ashamed to tell you this but I am so scared.

Despite this, I do know that the only good thing to happen to me recently is that I was brought here.

This happened because of the Soi Dog supporters who make up the Emergency Response Team. Without their donations, I couldn�t have been helped.

I am old enough to know that there are many other dogs and cats out there and they desperately need help too.

They are frightened and alone, sick and in pain. Can YOU be the one to change that?
