My name is Gibson. I am a 2 year boy, born on the streets of Phuket. I have been in terrible pain for some time now and I would like to tell you my story.

I came to the Soi Dog shelter from a mobile clinic, after the vets noticed I had a badly swollen neck. When I was examined, they found that I had a mass of fluid there.

It was something called cervical mucocelle and the vets said this was an abnormal collection of saliva. It is usually caused by a damaged salivary gland. All I knew was that I was in a lot of discomfort and had been for some time.

Dr Su performed surgery to drain all that fluid away and by the time I came round from that, I was feeling so much better already. Now it is a case of cleaning and treating my surgical wound every day and I am on my best behaviour when that happens. I know that everybody here is trying to help me.

The vets say I am healing well. I am just happy to no longer be suffering. I owe all this to some special Soi Dog supporters called the Emergency Response Team.

The Emergency Response Team are people who live all over the world, but want to help the dogs and cats of Thailand. It is thanks to their donations that I got the treatment I so badly needed.

There are many other suffering street dogs and cats still out there. YOU can be the one who makes a difference to them today.

If you become one of the good people in the Emergency Response Team, you will be helping so many and you will see just how many you are helping right here on Facebook.

Please do this today. All you have to do is click on my photo to get started.

Thank you.

By joining the Emergency Response Team, you are making sure that suffering street dogs and cats get the life-saving treatment they so urgently need.
