I continue to be awed and inspired by all our brave and heroic yellow-coloured friends and even though this is a blog about animals, I'll make an exception and pay tribute to them all.

The reason you see fewer postings here is because I'm still reading all the touching and inspiring Bersih stories on the Net!

Perhaps the animals would also benefit when we have more caring and righteous leaders. Perhaps we can then push for no-kill at the pounds and CNRM on the streets and we wouldn't have to speak to people who promise to "see to it and get back to you" but never do.

A great start to a better world is when humans cease to discriminate amongst themselves. Only then can we hope that humans will see animals as their equals too. Equal in deserving of love, care and help.

To all the brave Pikachus and Tweety Birds, you stand tall amongst us all!
