DOG SKIN TANNERY SHUT DOWN!

The Royal Thai Police, acting on information supplied by WDT (Watchdog Thailand) undercover investigators recently raided a dog skin tannery.

Unfortunately, the dog thieves were able to make their escape shortly before the raid leaving behind over 500 dog skins.

We found many fresh rawhides both new and old scattered along the escape route and a total of 10 large sacks with more than 500 skins.

Dog leather is widely used for the making of leather products, particularly golf gloves.

Funding undercover investigations and caring for the thousands of dogs rescued is expensive.
