The recently concluded SPCA Charity Run by a group of animal lovers cum runners raised a sum of approx.RM35000. SPCA has made available another RM35000 to match the sum raised for purpose of neutering animals. In a move to curb the over pet population, SPCA is running a spaying campaign starting this July till 30th Sept. This campaign is open to all: - Owners who owns queen cats and bitches (preferably mongrels only)
- The pet animal must be vaccinated and free of diseases.
- Your pet dog must possess the current year dog licence
Anyone who adopts a stray from animal shelters in Penang is encouraged to apply. Please inform your friends and family about this campaign. Existing pet owners who wish to `adopt a stray’ as a second dog is welcome to do so. SPCA will provide spaying vouchers from RM100 – RM150 per animal.
