Elephant Weeps While Being Rescued After 50 Years Of Mistreatment

Raju, an elephant in India, breaks into tears….

as he is FINALLY set free after 50 years of being

- fitted with painful shackles, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week;

- possibly greatly malnourished;

- physically repressed;

and emotionally strained.

We, too, applaud the liberation of Raju from his keeper, made possible by UK-based animal charity, WIldlife SOS. But, we know no amount of gratitude from any one of us could even match that expressed by Raju – the very instant he sensed freedom at last…..
