I was stolen from the streets of northern Thailand and am a survivor of the illegal dog meat trade. I would have been SKINNED ALIVE AND BOILED FOR MY MEAT, but I was so lucky to be saved by Soi Dog Foundation..

I was so afraid � I was stolen from my human family and squashed into a small metal cage with many other dogs and taken away on a truck to cross the border.

I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doing this to me? There were so many other dogs that I couldn’t even count them all. I could hear them though � and the sounds they made were horrible. The further we travelled, the more of them stopped. I also began to run out of hope……

Suddenly the truck stopped and new people were peering into the cages to see which of us were still alive inside. Than all the cages were taken off and then we were released and put into a big truck and taken to a shelter for in Buriram which is Northern Thailand.

I was terrified � there were so many dogs. I live in a compound with over 300 of dogs. Every day there are fights for territory and food and I just spend everyday trying to avoid being attacked by the big aggressive dogs in here.

My name is Snowy and I am a survivor of the Dog Meat Trade. I am beautiful and white as my name suggests, so maybe I was chosen because of my fur… Not only are we boiled alive for our meat, our fur and skins are also used to make golf gloves and drum skins…..

After all I have gone through, I just really want my forever home with my own soft bed and a family to love me. I am approximately 3 years old and am very friendly and energetic girl.

Please adopt me. Please give me the home and life I deserve. I want out of this place. I want to go home.
