Look what the stork, or SPCA shelter rather, brought in!
One of our hamsters, Mother Nature, has given birth to 4 bouncing babies (for now, named as the 4 Seasons – Autumn, Spring, Summer & Winter), earlier today (2nd July)!
Mother Nature, a Syrian Hamster, was found abandoned in Clementi West, in late June 2014. In our Animal Care Officers’ care, she has since been nursed to health, and is ready to do the same for her tiny toddlers!
Deserving a shout-out here, too, is one of our Animal Care Officers, Mr Suntharam, easily our in-house ‘mid-wife’ who has facilitated, and assisted in, the childbirth. The 4 Seasons sure have you to thank, Mr Suntharam! (He is pictured here with the Mother (Nature) of 4, with the kids all in tow.)
Epilogue: The saga continues, with Mother Nature & the 4 Seasons to be fostered and going to a home within the next few days, (hopefully) Happy Ever After……That’s all, folks!
