SPCA SEBERANG PERAI was formed in September 2005. It is a charitable non-profit organization. We practice non-kill policy and ensure that animals are safe whilst waiting to find a new home. Our kennels are always full with a long list of animals waiting to come in.

Currently, there are around 600 dogs and puppies and 80 cats and kittens in our shelter. It costs a minimum of RM17K every month to keep the shelter running. The main expenditure is on food, medication, spaying, workers’ wages and land rental.

SPCA SEBERANG PERAI needs approximately 10 packets of 10kgs rice daily to feed the many hundreds of furrykids at the shelter and also to prepare food for dogs imprisoned at MPSP Dog Pound.

A packet of 10kgs rice cost approximately RM17. For this small amount, you can help keep the needy animals away from hunger.
