PLEASE HELP STREET DOGS LIKE POAJAI. CLICK HERE TO DONATE

Hello, I am Poajai, do you remember me? I am an old boy, about 12 years of age now and I have been through so much. I have lived my whole life on the streets, just trying to survive from day to day. I don’t think I did too badly but it all became too much for me in the end.

There were some humans who lived near my territory and they really didn’t like me hanging around there, so they threw stones at me to make me go away. It worked. I was hurt and so scared of all the stones, so I ran away. I moved to another area but there were problems there too. The resident dogs didn’t like me moving in on their territory so they all attacked me.

I am lucky that somebody called Soi Dog and I was taken to the shelter. I was covered in bite wounds from the other dogs and cuts from the stones the humans threw at me. I was very frightened and I felt so alone.

There is a vet here called Dr. Eugene and he is the first human to really care for me. He cleans and treats my wounds every day and tells me they are healing well. I have some swelling around my neck and around one of my ankles. I am also coughing, which may be caused by the wounds around my neck.

I am a happy dog despite what I have suffered and I am so friendly to the staff here. I love when they visit me. They tell me that I must thank the Emergency Response Team as they are the reason I am here. They are a special group of Soi Dog supporters, whose monthly donations can be used to help dogs like me. I don’t want to think about what would have happened to me if nobody joined the Emergency Response Team.

Sometimes I do think about all the other street dogs and cats that are still out there. There will be sick and injured ones that need help. Please won’t YOU be the one to help them? You can do so by joining the Emergency Response Team today. You will be changing lives in an instant and all you have to do is click my photo below to get started:
