CAN YOU SAVE ANOTHER DOG LIKE CONGATE? PLEASE CLICK HERE TO DONATE

My name is Congate. I am a boy of about 8 years of age and I have been alone all my life, living on the streets of Phuket, Thailand. I’ve never had a home of my own or known the loving touch of a human, but that all changed the day Soi Dog found me.

I was picked up by Animal Rescue Officer Khun Sanae when he saw what terrible condition I was in. I had an open wound near my bum and my once beautiful fur was matted and filthy dirty. I was such a sad little man. Sanae rushed me to the shelter and into the arms of a special lady called Dr. Eed.

She took a look at my wound and saw that it was filled with maggots. She also noticed that I had a problem with my right eye and I was absolutely covered in ticks. Dr. Eed cleaned and treated my wound and then she gave me a shower and a haircut! I started to feel handsome again.

I am such a happy dog here at the shelter; all I needed was a bit of love. Dr. Eed tells me that I am here because of a very special group of Soi Dog supporters called the Emergency Response Team. It is their donations that meant Sanae could pick me up as soon as he spotted me and get me the help I so badly needed.

Won’t you do the same for another dog or cat? There are so many still out there that need to be rescued. YOU can be the one who helps them, the special person who gets another sick, injured or abused animal into a place of safety at Soi Dog. Please just click on my picture to get started.
