I am 11 years old and I have been here at the shelter in Phuket, Thailand for over 9 YEARS!

I have no idea what I did wrong when I was dumped over the fence of the old Soi Dog clinic when I was just 2 years old. I was so scared.

I’ve suffered from distemper in the past which is where by name Shakey Joy comes from as I used to shake but no one’s seen me shake for a long time.

I can be a little nervous around new people, but once I get to know you I can be quite affectionate; I do like my own space too. I love my daily walk and I’ve been told I’m really good on my lead. Sometimes I have a burst of energy and the volunteers run with me.

While it might sound like I have a good life here at the shelter in Phuket, I long to leave here and have a home of my own. Each day I hope each person that comes to visit my run will take me home with them. Will you take me home?
