PLEASE CLICK HERE TO HELP ANOTHER DOG LIKE KENIA

I am a one year old girl called Kenia. Born on the streets of Phuket, with no home of my own and no human to look after me, I have had a very difficult life so far. I had to learn pretty quickly how to fend for myself, but I was managing to get by until the day somebody put a rubber band around my neck. I don’t know why they did this, but I will never forget the pain I went through because of it.

As I got bigger, the band began to squeeze tighter and tighter. With every passing day, it dug further into my neck, eventually leaving me with a deep and painful wound. I was helpless to remove that band, no matter how hard I struggled.

When a Soi Dog staff member found me, she got that rubber band off me so quickly. In seconds, I felt relief, but the pain from the wound was still there. I was taken to the shelter, where that horrible injury was treated every day and now my neck has completely healed.

I am so grateful to the people who helped me here. When they come to visit me, I love nothing more than to get cuddles and play with them.

There is a special group of Soi Dog supporters, all over the world, and I wish I could cuddle them too. They are called the Emergency Response Team because it is their monthly donations that mean dogs like me can be helped. Without them, I would still be wandering the streets in agony, that rubber band buried tightly in my neck.

There are many other animals out there – dog and cats, young and old – that need help. YOU can be the one who sees that they get it by joining the special group called the Emergency Response Team. Please do this for me today, so that every sad story of suffering can turn into a happy one like mine. All you have to do is click on my photo to get started.

Thank you.
