My name is Shooter. I was brought to Soi Dog in a tremendous amount of pain after somebody tried to hack off the base of my tail. My only crime was to be a lone street dog, unwanted and unloved. I am a 4 year old boy and this lonely life is the only one I�ve ever known.

Animal Rescue Officer Khun Jaroon found me and raced me to the Soi Dog shelter. I was very scared and suffering terribly. The vets had no option but to amputate my tail in order to save me from further agony. Now they have put me on medication to stop the pain and prevent infection and they are hopeful I will make a full recovery.

I would ask you to please think for a moment about what would have happened to me, were it not for a special group of Soi Dog supporters called the Emergency Response Team. These people live all over the world but want to help suffering dogs and cats on the streets of Thailand. It is their donations that put an end to my misery.
