Join The Emergency Response Team Today!

My name is Rosa and I am about 2 years old now. My life has been lived on the streets here in Phuket, Thailand, with no owner or home to call my own. I was managing okay, scavenging for food and trying to stay out of trouble. I must have done something wrong one day, but I will never know what. A human simply picked up a knife and stabbed me in the chest. I will never forget the terror and pain.

I was in agony and frozen with fear when a man called Khun Jaroon picked me up. He is an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog and he took me to the shelter. The vets examined my knife wound and I heard them call it a deep puncture wound. I didn’t know what that meant but I knew that it hurt so much and that I was very scared.

Since that day of terrible cruelty, I have known nothing but kindness. My wound was treated and cleaned every day and I have now made a full recovery. I am in a good place now and it is all thanks to some special Soi Dog supporters. They live all over the world, in countries far from Thailand, but they care very much about street dogs like me. They are the Emergency Response Team.

I know there are other animals out there that need help – dogs and cats that are sick or injured or abandoned. Won’t you please be the one to help them? If you join the Emergency Response Team today, you can change the world for one suffering animal, just as another supporter did for me. Please just click on my picture to get started.
