I am a 2 year old girl called Buggy. I was born on the streets of Phuket, Thailand and those streets are all I�ve ever known. I have never had a home of my own; I have never felt the gentle touch of a human who loves me. And for as long as I can remember, something terrifying has been happening to me.

I never knew what brought it on but sometimes, I would just start shaking. I couldn�t stop it; it would just get worse and worse. The streets I knew so well would start to spin around me and I would be gripped by fear. Then everything would go dark and I would collapse.

One day, I was brought to Soi Dog and examined by a kind lady called Dr. Sai. She told me I was having something called seizures. She has put me on medication to stop them happening and I am not so scared anymore. Because of the seizures I have had in the past, I can no longer walk completely straight. I sometimes lean to the left, sometimes to the right. I don�t mind; I am alive and safe.

I was rescued because of a special group of Soi Dog supporters. They live all over the world, in countries far from Thailand, but they want to help suffering, frightened animals like me. They are called the Emergency Response Team and without them, I would not be here.
