3 DOGS RESCUED FROM TORTURE & BUTCHERY – MORE SLAUGHTERHOUSES RAIDED!

A large number of banners have been placed throughout northeast Thailand, targeting dog traffickers and raising public awareness of this illegal and inhumane trade. The posters offer rewards to local people who provide tip-offs that lead to the arrest of dog thieves.

In just the past few days, two more illegal slaughterhouses were raided. These slaughterhouses were reported in two separate phone calls.

The persons who phoned in were simple villagers. They had no access to emails or Facebook; their phones cannot even take pictures. This proves that the calls were made AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE POSTERS FINANCED BY SOI DOG SUPPORTERS.

Our undercover agents rushed in and were just in time to stop the slaughter of 2 chained up dogs in one slaughterhouse and a lone dog in the other. In total, 20 bags of ready for sale dog meat, with a combined weight of 8 kilos, were seized as evidence.

The butchers were taken into custody and charged with animal cruelty, selling animals without a permit, slaughtering animals without a permit and owning unvaccinated animals.

The 3 rescued dogs are now safe in a nearby shelter and following health checks, will be taken to a permanent shelter financed by Soi Dog supporters.

The POSTER CAMPAIGN IS WORKING! But many more posters are needed to further public awareness. You can send a direct message to dog snatchers by financing the production and erection of your own poster.

The cost to do this is only $25; one cannot put a price on the number of lives that will be saved.

Please get directly involved and MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD today by purchasing one or more posters.
