This sweet dog was rescued by two young girls outside my house in Ara Damansara yesterday evening. The girls saw her at first and fed her some biscuits. Then the dog came over and hid under my car which was parked outside. She was afraid of me but ok with the girls. So I had to guide the girls on how to stroke her and make her comfortable before quietly putting the leash over the dog. Bravo to the girls, they followed my instruction to the tee and we got her. Bless them, we need more young rescuers like these:) There is no bleeding on the dog but she has one dried wound on her ear and her milk ducts appeared engorged. Unsure if she is on heat. Anyhow, she was kept at a neighbor's house for the night and I have asked Ah Fatt's help to send her in this afternoon to Dr Edmund's clinic to assess her condition. The dog was famished and ate hungrily. She was quiet through the night and appeared depressed this morning when i saw her. My neighbor said the dog likes the kibbles but left out the rice. So it appears she is either a lost pet or an abandoned dog. I will update you again once I get a report from the vet on her condition. If no major injuries, then can spay her and subsequently put her for adoption.I have several requests: please post on yr website in case she is a lost dog and her owner is looking for her. Also to request for fosterer once she is given the green light to be discharged and for help with the vet bill. Thanks much.
If this is your lost dog, please contact Eileen on the hp given above.
If this dog is not claimed, Eileen is also looking for a fosterer upon the dog's discharge from the vet's.
We are subsidising the dog's medical treatment and spaying fee.
