CLICK HERE TO HELP A STREET DOG IN DISTRESS

My name is Lenon and I would like to tell you my story. I am a 5 year old boy, who has lived on the streets of Thailand all my life. I have never had any human to take care of me, but I managed to get by.

I was brought to Soi Dog one day because of a seriously bad wound on my paw. I’m not sure how it happened, but by the time I got to the shelter, the pain was unbearable. The wound was severely infected and had been hurting me so much that I had not eaten for a number of days. This had made me very weak and unable to fight the bad infection.

The vets examined me and saw that the wound went right down to my bone and was full of maggots. They started me on medication and have been cleaning and treating my wound every day. They are worried that it might be too late for that leg though; I still refuse to use it. The vets say that if it doesn’t get better and I am no longer able to stand or walk on it, they will have to remove it. If they don’t do this, I won’t be able to walk and run around like other dogs.

I am here today because of a group of kind people called the Emergency Response Team. These are Soi Dog supporters, who live all over the world, but want to help the street dogs and cats of Thailand. Their donations saved me but there are many others like me still in need of rescuing. Please won’t you join the Emergency Response Team today and let them know you can help them? All you have to do is click on my picture to get started.
