In Peninsular Malaysia, WWF-Malaysia works with the Department of Fisheries to protect turtle eggs through constant nesting monitoring. We also work with local communities, the Turtle Guardians, to protect their local heritage.

Our collective presence prevents poachers from getting to the nests before us, resulting in a larger number of incubated eggs and hatchlings released.
