SARAJEVO RESCUER NEEDS HELP

The following account comes from the Sarajevo-based rescue team Andejo Sarajevo:

“Today we received a phone call from this woman, who was crying on the phone, begging us to help her because she has about 30 cats and some dogs that she`s been feeding. The animal population under her care has only increased, since none of the animals have been sterilized. She was desperate because her own brother, living in the same house had, because of some family disagreements with her, been taking his revenge out on the animals.He had started to poison them and to throw firecrackers at them”

“She keeps the cats in a room at night, but you all know that cats, nor other animals, like to be locked up all the time… So far he has poisoned 5 of her cats who died in agony… He throws firecrackers at the dogs all the time… She has even reported him to the police, but since our police are simply idiots, they took her brother`s side… We took pictures of the cats who were outside the house and in the house when we were there. We will post the pictures, so that maybe some of them conquer someone`s heart and get saved from this agony and stress. The lady asked us to at least help her with food and sterilization for the female cats so that they don`t have any more kittens.”
