Hi there Kah Yein,
Thought of updating on Sammy’s progress.
Since today is Saturday, and i have plenty of time at home to accompany the feline kind, i thought, let’s try allowing Sammy out to explore the whole house with the other 2 old timer (Olie & Babygirl). No rush, no pressure. Let’s chill… It’s Saturday!
Sammy was very curious and inspected almost all the corner of the house with Olie tagging just behind him. After some sniffing here and there, Sammy took to running up and down with Olie chasing after. There were some slight fluffing up of the tail and some hissing due to the high adrenaline chase. They did that a few times and the fluffing up begin to lessen. Olie just wanted to play but Sammy was still unsure. All these were of course under supervision by nervous little me… hahahah.
A few more rounds of chasing, Olie gave up and watched Sammy play with the ping pong ball instead. Sammy could really really go at it, slapping the ball all over the place. He was literally having a “ball”!. He went on for more than an hour (amazing), and Olie just sat and watch from a higher perch. Babygirl on the other hand, just napped through all the ruckus. Boys will be boys.
After much exercise on a hot hot Saturday afternoon, all 3 Musketeers (as i took to name them now) went flat and snoozes off. From the position of their sleeping level, Babygirl was on the big cushion which was on the highest point of all there, then comes Olie on the dining chair and lastly Sammy on the floor. Could this tell of some hierarchy in the making? Hmmmm…. i wonder…maybe yes maybe no.
Well, i’m just glad that so far, 3 of them gave me a peaceful Saturday afternoon. Pheeeewwww…. :)
Wish everyone a great & wonderful weekend….
Regards,
Yoke Mei & The 3 Musketeers

3. Today is a really really hot day…..afternoon siesta.
4. Olie curled up on a rag up on the dining chair.
5. Babygirl curled up on the big fat cushion.
