We are a little brother and sister, just 5 months old. Our names are Tenley and Emory. We are street dogs who have had to learn to fend for ourselves. This is not always easy and we often found ourselves in scary situations. One day, we were hanging around a construction site � it was a new place to explore and we hoped we might even find some food there. Instead, we were badly hurt.

A big lot of stones from the construction site started to fall towards us. We tried to run but the stones got to us first. We were both badly injured and could do nothing to help each other. We were no longer able to walk.

Since being brought to Soi Dog, we have found humans to help us. The vets are so gentle with us and treat our injuries and wounds every day. Best of all, we are now walking again.

What happened to us is sad, but we are the lucky ones. We were rescued thanks to some Soi Dog supporters called the Emergency Response Team. Their monthly donations mean that Soi Dog can take in injured or sick dogs like us and help us get better.
