Life is pretty hard when you are dumped outside a school with your sister, when you are both only tiny puppies. We had no mother and no human owner to make sure we would be okay. We were both so terrified. We cuddled up together at the side of the road and tried to comfort each other. Our names are Topsy and Turvey.

Soon after that, a truck stopped and a man got out. Turvey started shaking. Was this man going to hurt us? The man bent down and picked us both up. He kissed the tops of our little heads and told us we were safe. His name is Khun Jaroon and he is an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog.

Since being at the Soi Dog shelter, we are no longer scared. The people here have told us we will stay here until we are adopted. We have recently been moved into the puppy run and we can’t believe how many other little ones like us are in there. We have made a lot of friends. Turvey is still a bit shy when the humans come to visit but when they sit down she likes to come to them for a cuddle.

We have been told we are only here because of a group called the Emergency Response Team. They are a kind group of Soi Dog supporters and their monthly donations as members of the team meant that Soi Dog were able to pick us up and take us to safety. We know we are the lucky ones; there are so many others out there and they need your help. You can make sure they get the help and treatment they need by joining the Emergency Response Team today. Won’t you do that for us? All you have to do is click on our picture to get started.
