Please Help Dogs Like Buggy

Life as a Thai street dog is difficult. You may have been born without ever having a human to look after you, or you may have been dumped and now have to find your own way. Either way, you are alone. When you are young and healthy, you learn to survive. You manage to find food, or some nice people give you some, and you understand how to avoid traffic and stay alive.

Imagine though, that on a regular basis, something terrifying happens to you. You start to shake uncontrollably, you lose awareness of where you are, an overwhelming fear descends on you, and then, you pass out. I am Buggy and this is my story.

I have been suffering from seizures for a long time now. With no owner to take care of me, I was left all alone on the streets to fend for myself. When the seizures came, I could do nothing. They took over my body and I would collapse. It did not matter where I was, I could not help myself.

Since being at Soi Dog, Dr Sai is looking after me. She is giving me medication to stop me having any more seizures and life is turning around for me. The people here tell me I am a very sweet dog but my eyes are full of sadness at all I have been through. I am only 2 years of age.

Every day, dogs like me continue to suffer. Soi Dog wants to help them all but they were only able to help me thanks to the Emergency Response Team. These Soi Dog supporters send monthly donations so that animals like me can be rescued and cared for. There are so many more out there and they need YOU. Please join the Emergency Response Team today by clicking on my picture; you will be helping so many. Thank you.
