Home For Hope - IKEA Singapore
Tweet |
Does anyone know the management of IKEA Malaysia
or other popular brands in Malaysia? PetFinder.my would love to collaborate with them to creatively raise awareness and find homes for 7,000 needy animals on our platform.
This video shows an amazing initiative by IKEA and animal shelters in Singapore to promote pet adoption. Visitors to IKEA stores in Singapore are being encouraged to add a homeless dog to their list of accessories and furnishings for their home. The retailer has teamed up with local adoption shelters, placing life-sized cardboard cut-outs of animals who are up for adoption amongst its furniture displays.
Those who think their home would benefit from a pooch can scan the codes on the cardboard dogs’ collars to go to a bio and video of each dog on the Home for Hope website.
If you have some good contacts, please do share with us so we can save more precious lives together. Thank you!
