Click Chingcha's Picture To Help Another Dog Like Her

I am an older lady whos been around for about 10 years now. I have never known a home of my own or had an owner who loved me. My home is the street, where I spent every day fighting to survive. It is not so bad when you are younger but as you get on in years, you get tired. You become weak and then you get sick. I am a Thai street dog and my name is Chingcha.

I came to Soi Dog with a horrific wound on the side of my neck. Because I had nobody looking after me, the wound had been there for some time. Eventually, it had got badly infected, meaning I got something called septicaemia. I also had severe anaemia. I was a very sick lady and in a lot of pain.

Since being at Soi Dog, everything has changed for me. My wound gets treated and cleaned every day and I am on medication for the infection. I am no longer in pain. I have a place to sleep every night and I have access to food and clean water. I have never known love before. I never thought I would.

The Emergency Response Team has shown me what it feels like to be loved. This group of Soi Dog supporters have signed up to help street animals like me and it is their monthly donations that meant I could be taken off the streets and looked after at the shelter.

I was not alone in my suffering. There are so many more like me but YOU can help them by clicking my picture and signing up to the Emergency Response Team. No amount is too small; every single bit helps. Please do this for me today. Thank you.
