We are a shy brother and sister who love each other very much. We are 9 years of age now and we are inseparable. Our names are Bonnie and Clyde

Until about 16 months ago, our lives were lived on the streets. We were managing okay, finding enough food to survive day to day, but most of all, taking comfort in each other’s company. It all ended though, when some people around us decided they didn’t want us hanging around anymore and threatened to kill us. That’s when we were taken to Soi Dog.

We have been happy here at the shelter, being taken for walks by volunteers like Paul and Jan and getting lot of cuddles from everyone. Deep inside though, we dared to dream that someday, somebody might adopt us.

Our dream came true when a man named Olivier visited the shelter the other day. He lives here on the island and he loves animals. He came to Soi Dog looking for two dogs that he could give a home to. As soon as the staff brought him into our run, we knew he was the one for us. We made our way over to him and we stuck right beside him. We followed him around the run. We didn’t let him out of our sight. And immediately, he knew we were the ones for him.

We are so happy that our day has come and we have found our forever home and can spend the rest of our lives together with someone who loves us. Adopting from Soi Dog is easy and we have seen other dogs leave for the US, Canada and Europe. The staff organise everything for you so if you think you can provide a loving home for one of the friends we will leave behind, please click the link for more information and get in touch if you can help.

We are Bonnie and Clyde and our dream has come true. Please make it so for another.
