We are Veni and Vidi. We were born to our mother Vita, during a time of enormous suffering for her. She was struggling with terrible skin problems and was very weak. Her skin was destroyed by sarcoptic mange and a fungal infection. She was alone on the streets and nobody cared. By the time we were born, she had lost all of her beautiful fur.

Our Mum was very tired but she really wanted to look after us. Despite her own suffering, she battled every day to keep us alive. We started to develop the same skin problems as her and our first few weeks of life were miserable. Our little family of 3 was in desperate trouble. Our mother was getting weaker by the day and on the verge of giving up � then we were found by Soi Dog.

We were all brought to the shelter from a mobile clinic. We were placed together with our Mum, in a quiet space where she could look after us. The vets started us all on the medication we needed and slowly, we are all starting to get stronger. The vets tell us it will take some time and yet, we are the lucky ones.

We were only saved thanks to the Emergency Response Team. The monthly donations of these Soi Dog supporters have provided us with all the food and medications we so urgently needed.
