Click Here To Help Dogs Like Red Rum & Shergar

Imagine having a home of your own, where you have regular food and access to shelter. Your entire life to date has been lived like this; you know of nothing else and have never had to fight to survive. Then one day, your owner walks out on you and never comes back. We are Red Rum and Shergar and this is our story.

We are two 4 month old girls and until recently, we have never had to fend for ourselves. This made it all the more cruel when our owner suddenly abandoned us. We didn’t even know how to begin looking for food, so we simply gave up. By the time we were found, we hadn’t eaten for a week.

The kind man who found us took us to Soi Dog and we have been here ever since. We now have regular access to food and water and a roof over our heads. We get to cuddle the humans and once again, feel what it is like to be cared for. The vets say we are in pretty good condition, considering what we have been through, but they are keeping a close eye on us.

Believe it or not, we are the lucky ones. We were rescued thanks to a group of Soi Dog supporters called the Emergency Response Team. Their regular donations mean that Soi Dog can take in animals like us and provide us with food and medication. YOU can join this group today, because without your support, Soi Dog cannot continue to rescue all the other dogs and cats that need help.

Please won’t you consider joining the Emergency Response Team? They tell us that even the smallest amount can help a lot; no amount is too small. Please sign up to help today.
