I am Porthos. PLEASE ADOPT ME.

I am only 16 weeks old but I have had a terrible start in life. My Mum died soon after I was born and so did my sister Aramis. They were both very sick by the time they got to the clinic and although the vets tried very hard to save them, it was too late. Suddenly, it was just me and my other sister Athos, all alone in the world.

We were hand reared by the shelter manager at Soi Dog from when we were just 3 days old and if it wasn’t for her, we would not be here today. Her love and round the clock care saved our lives. My sister Athos has now been adopted and will soon leave me for her home in Canada. I will be the last of my family, still here at the shelter.

I don’t want to grow up in a shelter. I really want my own forever home. I am one of the friendliest and most affectionate puppies you will ever meet. I love seeing visitors in the puppy run – I bound all the way over to greet them. Every time I see a new person, I look at them and wonder if they will become my new owner. I am still waiting.

I am hoping you will read my story and open your home to me. I will never let you down if you do. If you can find it in your heart to adopt me, PLEASE EMAIL cristy@soidog.org
