Shy Twist Gets Her Happy Ever After!

Hi, my name is Twist. I am a male medium sized dog, about 5� years old. I have been living at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Thailand for almost four of those years. I was brought here from a local temple after I�d been hit by a car. The vets here are very kind and they treated me well. Under their care, I soon got better.

I am a gentle, shy but very loving dog and the people at Soi Dog can see how well I get on with both humans and other dogs. I live in the shy dog run at the shelter and this has given me much more confidence. I now love going out for my walks and getting a chance to investigate the outside world. I have been ready for my own home for some time now and the other day, I got the news I�d been dreaming of.

There is a lovely lady called Tracy who wants to adopt me. Tracy lives in a place called the UK and that means I will be getting on a plane soon and going to join my new owner at my forever home. Tracy has promised me long walks in the woods every day � I am so excited.

I know I am not the first dog to leave the shelter for a new home in Europe or Canada or the US. The people at Soi Dog make it easy for us to be adopted and organise everything.
