I Am Bruno - PLEASE ADOPT ME.

After the 2004 tsunami, I was dumped at the shelter in the middle of the night. I was already terrified because the tsunami was a very scary thing and I saw lots of humans and animals die. I didn’t know what was going to happen to me.

The tsunami was a long time ago now, and it makes me sad that I am still here. Ever since that night, many years ago, I have been dreaming of finding my own home. I am scared it might never happen for me because I am 10 years old and I am worried that nobody wants an old dog like me.

I have been looked after so well by volunteers Paul and Jan and they tell me that I am a smart boy because of my age. I have learnt for example, that if I give them my paw, I get some nice treats. I like to take it nice and easy on my walks with them because I am no longer a young pup who can run around like the crazy little ones do.

I dream that somewhere out there, there is a human looking for a dog like me – someone who wants an older, medium to large sized dog that they can enjoy gentle strolls and lazy cuddles with. I am not a lot of work and I would never make you regret your decision. I can easily be adopted locally or to the USA, Canada, the UK or other European countries.

I got some news today that has given me hope: a very generous person out there is willing to pay 50% of my adoption costs, including my flights. If this will help YOU give me the loving home I have been dreaming of for years, please email deb@soidog.org

I hope you can help me. I don’t want to live out the rest of my days in a shelter. Please adopt me.
