To The Magic 1000 Club: Thank You From The Dogs Of Buriram

We recently updated you on the dogs rescued from the dog meat trade that have been transferred from Government livestock shelters to purpose-built facilities at Buriram. We were only able to construct these facilities with the donations of the Magic 1000 Club and we now have 6 large shelters thanks to your support.

When building a city however, we need more than houses. We are working continuously on infrastructure such as roads, drainage, medication and water supply and filtration. We are also in talks to construct a badly needed clinic at Buriram. In addition, it is costing us in the region of US$33,000 a month to feed and treat the huge number of dogs there. This is well outside Soi Dog’s normal operating budget.
