Poor Pal Saved From Ongoing Pain And Fear

Pal is a little boy of about 6 weeks of age, who has already experienced intense suffering in his short life. He was brought to Soi Dog from a mobile clinic by Animal Rescue Officer, Khun Sanae. Sanae noticed that Pal had quite a nasty wound on his back and wasted no time in scooping him up and getting him to safety. Until that moment, Pal had no doubt been in a lot of pain for a long time and was naturally very scared.

At the shelter, the vets examined Pal and, other than the wound and some mild anaemia, found him to be in good health. Pal is very alert and eating normally. Staff member Khun Tasoo has been treating Pal every day, cleaning his wound with antiseptic medication and making sure it remains free of infection. Already, the wound is starting to heal very well. Pal is a soft, gentle pup, who now likes nothing more than being picked up and cuddled. This tiny boy knows he is now safe.

Pal is only here because of the Emergency Response Team. This group of vital supporters, based all around the world, help us save the lives of street dogs and cats on a daily basis. Sadly, the team is in urgent need of more members. Please visit http://bit.ly/1fOrTq2 to find out how you can join them today.
