Traumatised Popper Is Recovering From Horrific Head Wound

Hello, Im Popper. I am only about 3 years of age but have already experienced shocking trauma in my young life. You might remember my story, but if you havent yet met me, you can read how it all started here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.650953778279694.1073742561.108625789179165&type=3
I was picked up in the south of the island by Animal Rescue Office Khun Sanae. I had a large wound on my head that was badly infected and I was in terrible pain. I dont remember much about how I got this wound but it could have been an attack by other dogs or a machete attack by humans.
At the shelter, the vets cleaned and treated my wound. They also said I had something called blood parasites and started me on antibiotics and painkillers. I was very, very scared but the vets were kind to me. They checked on me every day and made sure my wound was cleaned very well and that the infection was going away.
They told me that because my injury was so bad, it would take a long time before I was completely healed. Every day I felt a little bit better though, and while I was still scared, I was also happy to not be in pain anymore. One day, the vets told me my wound was good enough for me to be introduced to one of the A runs, where I made friends with some other dogs.
I am trying not to be so frightened of humans anymore, but I still have terrible memories. I know the people here at Soi Dog are trying to help me, so every day I show them that I trust them a little bit more. They can now sit beside me and I no longer feel scared.
None of this would have been possible were it not for the Emergency Response Team. Without this group of kind supporters, I would have been left to suffer on the streets. The infection in my wound would have led to blood poisoning and I would have died alone and in agony. This is the way it is for many other street animals like me. They need your help.
