Perky was one of our Klang Pound rescues. We took her out along with 35 others on the day they were due to be euthanised. Perky almost did not make it as she was in a bad state. We brought her back from the farm in Bentong after she was spayed because she appeared to be very weak. She was treated for a few weeks.

I called her Perky (to perk her up when she was almost dying) and also because I noticed she had a zest for life despite being in an almost dying state.

Mei Leng adopted Perky from us last year and life has been wonderful....

Mei Leng calls her "crazy dog" sometimes, so you can imagine what fun Perky must be!

Mei Leng has rabbits in her balcony but Perky is a bit too rough, so he only gets to look at the rabbits from inside the apartment. Mei Leng says Perky spends hours watching them every day.

We're so grateful to Mei Leng for adopting Perky and giving her such a good life!
