Suffering Takrai Rescued Just In Time

Meet Takrai. Takrai is a baby girl of just 14 weeks who came to the shelter having been hit by a car. She was collected by Animal Rescue Officer Khun Jaroon, unable to walk and with severe pain in her hind legs.
The vets at Soi Dog examined Takrai and an x-ray revealed several fractures. She was also diagnosed with anaemia and put on a drip and antibiotics immediately. The vets also confirmed that Takrai had been sterilised by Soi Dog a few weeks previously.
Takrai is currently only walking on three legs and there is the possibility she may have to have one of her legs amputated in order to allow her to recover fully. She is a lovely, friendly pup who wags her tail when called. She loves nothing more than a few cuddles and is a natural when it comes to posing for the camera!
Takrai is a lucky girl to be here and that’s all down to the Emergency Response Team. This group is made up of people just like you, united in a desire to help the defenceless dogs and cats of Thailand.
