I came to the clinic when a tourist found me on the beach and noticed that my skin was in a horrible state. I was scratching myself constantly and covered in scabs. So much of my fur was missing � I did not look good. I am glad this tourist did the right thing and Animal Rescue Officer Khun Thep was quick to come and get me.

When I got to Soi Dog, the vets examined me. They did something called a skin scraping � it didn�t hurt and it meant they were able to confirm that I had a very horrible case of mange. Once they knew this, they were able to give me the right medicine, as well as food supplements so I would get better more quickly.

The vets told me that I was an example of a very bad case of mange, which made me sad. But they also said they will help me get better and I trust them. I like the people here � the staff and the vets are very kind to me and I always co-operate when they want to give me my medicine. I�m not so sure about the other patients, I�m not in the mood to become friends with them right now but that might change.
