A Message From Adalardo

My name is Adalardo and my story is one of hope. If you havent met me yet, you can find out how I came to be here by visiting this link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.689250431116695.1073742796.108625789179165&type=3

I came to the clinic when a tourist found me on the beach and noticed that my skin was in a horrible state. I was scratching myself constantly and covered in scabs. So much of my fur was missing I did not look good. I am glad this tourist did the right thing and Animal Rescue Officer Khun Thep was quick to come and get me.

When I got to Soi Dog, the vets examined me. They did something called a skin scraping it didnt hurt and it meant they were able to confirm that I had a very horrible case of mange. Once they knew this, they were able to give me the right medicine, as well as food supplements so I would get better more quickly.

The vets told me that I was an example of a very bad case of mange, which made me sad. But they also said they will help me get better and I trust them. I like the people here the staff and the vets are very kind to me and I always co-operate when they want to give me my medicine. Im not so sure about the other patients, Im not in the mood to become friends with them right now but that might change.

I would like you to look at my latest pictures so you can see for yourself how my skin is improving, even if it will take some time. When you look at them, please think about what would have happened if it hadnt been for the Emergency Response Team. Maybe you will decide to join this team to save other dogs like me they are counting on you. Please visit https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html today.
