Paterson firefighters and New Jersey Search and Rescue worked together to save the life of this poodle mix trapped on a cliff at Garret Mountain Reservation. They sent two men down 100 feet to secure the dog in a harness and hoist him to safety.
John DeCando, Paterson’s chief animal control officer, told reporters, “He’s been out for a long time. He’s all bones.”
Well “he” turned out to be a “she” and has now been adopted. All cleaned up and given the name Easter, this dog is beginning a new life with a family who just can’t get enough of her.
Yes, it’s always darkest right before the dawn. To see a photo of Easter with her new family, click here http://www.northjersey.com/news/paterson-firefighter-adopts-dog-rescued-from-face-of-cliff-1.842738?page=all
