Sweet Little Melody Is Smiling With Thanks

Melody is a little girl of approximately 10 years old, who was brought to the shelter by her owners who live in the local area. They had tried taking her to a local vet but couldn�t afford the high costs of her treatment and so they asked Soi Dog to help.

Dr. Su examined Melody, who has an ulcer on her right eye and had ticks and fleas all over her body. An x-ray also revealed an old fracture in her left hip. She was immediately given treatment for the ticks and fleas and got a little haircut into the bargain! She is on medication and drops to treat the ulcer in her eye, along with a course of antibiotics.

Her eye is starting to look a bit better but the vets have also noticed that she is showing signs of difficulty when trying to use her back legs. She will remain with us for further diagnosis and treatment as needed and will return to her owners when she has recovered sufficiently. She is a sweet little girl who likes nothing more than a few cuddles.

It is only thanks to the members of the Emergency Response Team that Melody got the treatment she so badly needed.
